JIM SOLOMON is a FFF master casting instructor, fly tying instructor and accomplished angler. Jim has over forty years specializing in flyfishing tactics for streams, lakes and still waters. Jim was one of the first instructors to teach Trout in the Classroom. When Jim is not flyfishing a cold mountain stream he can be found along our sunny California coast fly fishing the local surf or sight casting along one of our inland concrete rivers for carp. Licensed Guide ID 0011708

 

 

AL QUATTROCCHI, “Al Q” has been an advocate of saltwater fly fishing on the west coast for over thirty years. He is was the originator of So-Cal’s first saltwater flyfishing surf event, The One Surf Fly, he popularized the Double Haul Ball and co-hosted The Carp Throwdown, a sight fishing for carp event held in San Diego. Al was awarded the Ross Marigold Complete Angler Award from the Pasadena Fly Fishing Club. He is a two-time IGFA world record holder, The West Coast editor for TAIL magazine, West Coast Ambassador to The American Museum of Fly Fishing and a professional fly tier and photographer.

Al is an accomplished saltwater angler specializing in the surf and coastal flyfishing. He is a passionate teacher of fly fishing. He speaks in many local clubs and fly shops across the country. He is a licensed guide ( Guide ID 704137) and hosts exotic fly adventures around the world.
